I have been running yoga retreats at Yuva since 2003, and I love returning each year!
I teach two yoga classes a day - morning and late afternoon, on the most perfect yoga platform in the world... - overlooking the ocean and the sky, giving one a taste of infinity...
I also offer various treatments - Therapeutic Massage, Thai Yoga Massage, Reflexology, Reiki; and there is also a Detox option:
Detox on a Shoestring
The detox option is probably the best value for money detox you'll find! The combination of vegetable and fruit juices three times a day, broth in the evenings, and herbal supplements clean out the colon. It's up to you how long you wish to do it for - a day, or anything up to two weeks - the longer you do it for, the more beneficial it is. It is a supportive environment in which to detox, and I'm there to guide you all the way.
£15 extra / day for detox - payable at Yuva.
Venue:
Yuva is an isolated retreat in a truly magnificent setting - situated right on the shores of the blue Agean, and surrounded by mountains and pine-forests. It is an ecological farm and the traditional Turkish quezine is vegetarian / vegan and based on macrobiotic principles.
Accommodation at Yuva is rustic, homely and comfortable with a choice between brick houses or wooden cottages.
Most evenings are free, with the occasional evening meditation or bhajan (singing / chanting) session - it very much depends on the needs and wishes of each group.
There is plenty of space for quiet time - baking on the rocks before jumping into the refreshing sea or chilling out in a hammock. For the more energetic, there are a number of beautiful, historical walks to explore.
I consider Yuva to be the perfect retreat venue. Here, one is reconnected to Nature..., to Stillness..., to the heartbeat of the Universe.
